Understanding LGBTQIA+ Identities with Dr. Hannah Ellerkamp

PFLAG NYC’s Support Services will provide a series of three free virtual workshops with special guest and clinical psychologist, Dr. Hannah Ellerkamp. This workshop series will focus on understanding the identities of LGBTQIA+ young people, including the intersection of neurodiversity and gender diversity, and how understanding how to communicate effectively can empower them as well as their parents and other folks in their lives. This workshop, the first in the series, will focus in particular on family acceptance of a loved one's gender identity and the best ways to come out to one's extended family. Understanding LGBTQIA+ Identities with Dr. Hannah Ellerkamp meets on the second Thursday of the month from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. ET. In order to keep a safe and confidential meeting space, you must register to attend PFLAG NYC meetings online.
