March 21, 2025 from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm EDT

We are teaming up with the Brooklyn Outreach and Prevention Program (BOP) at CAMBA to present another round of Being Queer in the Workforce, a workshop/panel series consisting of workforce development workshops on topics like applying for a job, writing a resume and cover letter, workplace discrimination/retaliation, and more. There will also be rapid HIV/STI testing on-site.

This session of Being Queer in the Workforce will take place on Friday, March 7, and Friday, March 21, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. EST at the Brooklyn Community Pride Center. If you’re unable to attend the events in person, there is also the option to attend through Zoom (a link will be provided to all registrants the day before each event). Participants who attend both dates, whether in person or virtually, will receive a $30 VISA gift card.

This workshop series is primarily for gay and bisexual men ages 18-29, and that is the demographic eligible to receive a $30 VISA card for attending both dates. However, other LGBTQ+ folks who are 18 and up are also welcome to sign up for the series.
