PFLAG NYC is the founding chapter of PFLAG, the nation’s foremost family-based organization committed to celebrating LGBTQ+ young people and creating a better future for all. PFLAG was started in 1973 by a group of parents in New York City who stood up for their gay children. Now, over 50 years later, the organization has more than 325,000 members and supporters in over 300 chapters throughout the United States.

All proceeds from the gala will go toward our ongoing work serving New York City through support services for LGBTQ+ people and their parents, family members, and loved ones, safe schools programming that promotes inclusivity in NYC schools, and our community outreach, education, and advocacy work.
