Anne became aware of PFLAG NYC when her younger daughter
came out as transgender. She began attending support groups over 10 years ago and has become a vocal ally for the LGBTQ+ community. Professionally, Anne worked as an orthopedic hand surgeon for 30 years. She joined the PFLAG NYC Board when she retired from her clinical practice at the end of 2018, and she currently serves as chair. Anne and her husband live in NYC, enjoying time with their two daughters and two grandchildren.
Kelly Holliday

Kelly joined Morgan Stanley in 1995 and became a Managing Director in 2017. She is the Global Internal Audit Chief Operating Officer responsible for financial management, communications strategy, people strategy, location strategy, resource management, department operations, systems, and metrics. Additionally, she has administrative responsibility for the India IAD office. Kelly is a graduate of Concordia College with a Bachelor's of Business Administration and has her MBA from Long Island University.
Lee Arthurs

Lee is currently a partner in a real estate development and consulting business. Prior to that, he had a career in finance with expertise in public finance and pension finance. Lee was also an elected member of the Westport, Connecticut RTM (equivalent to a town council) and served on the board of a non-profit private school in Connecticut. Lee and his wife, Judy, currently live in NYC full time. Lee’s commitment to PFLAG NYC’s mission is stronger due to his trans, non-binary, and gay family and friends.
Emma Ashworth

Emma is an E-Commerce Merchandising Manager for Bergdorf Goodman, executing item lifecycle and workflow management. She is a California native and graduated with a BA in Journalism and Mass Communications from The George Washington University. Emma is honored to continue the legacy of her grandparents, Richard and Amy Ashworth, as a fierce advocate for her friends, family, and all members of the LGBTQIA+ community and board member of PFLAG NYC.

Pat is a Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications at Citi, where he advises senior leadership and shapes communications that support the firm’s global business and reputation. Previously, Pat served as Vice President of Corporate and Media Group Communications at NBCUniversal, leading communications for the company’s multibillion-dollar distribution business and Peacock’s strategic initiatives, as well as NBCUniversal’s inclusion and philanthropic efforts. Pat has also held communications roles at Facebook and NBC News. He began his career in the prestigious NBCUniversal Page Program and is a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University.
Arian Clay-Sirop

Arian is a Vice President in Marketing and Technology at Morgan Stanley working with different teams to make plans for modernization of technology platforms. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Arian worked in live broadcast television, webcasting, and the e-commerce industry.
She earned her Bachelors in Broadcast Journalism from Point Park University and her MBA from Centenary University. Arian currently resides in Montclair, NJ with her wife and their two boys. She is an avid drummer and is passionate about giving back through her philanthropic work.

Jared is currently the Senior Community Program Manager at Microsoft, where he supports employee resource groups and community experience for women, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and families on the Talent, Diversity, Inclusion and Learning team. Jared completed his doctoral coursework at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. His capstone focused on career pathways for students in his hometown of Cleveland, OH. While in Cleveland, he worked to launch racial equity training citywide and revise the Cleveland Metropolitan School District Board Policies. Before his doctoral studies, he was the Associate Director of LGBTQ Equity with the NYC Department of Education. Jared lives in New York City with his husband, Ralph, and Chihuahua-Yorkie mix, Dorothy.

Brett is an experienced nonprofit leader who has dedicated his career—and life—to supporting the LGBTQ+ community at renowned organizations such as The Trevor Project, Human Rights Campaign, (RED), and now Crisis Text Line. He is an award-winning LGBTQ+ ally educator, trainer, and advocate, and is proud to join PFLAG NYC’s Board to advance our critical mission of creating a better future for all LGBTQ+ young people and allies.
Clara Lee

Clara is a proud Korean mother of a queer, bisexual son with trans experience. She is the founder of AAPI Rainbow Parents, a PFLAG NYC support group for LGBTQ+ individuals and families of Asian and Pacific Islander heritage that has addressed the culture-specific needs of the AAPI community since 2012.

Since ditching medical school to pursue a life of storytelling, Jim
has helped a wide variety of clients translate brand visions beyond traditional advertising into the entertainment digital and experiential spaces. He has produced award-winning advertising for Coca-Cola, The Outdoor Life Network, and Bacardi Global Brands and has created renowned consumer experiences for Jeep Activision, Intel Microsoft, Johnson & Johnson, and American Express OPEN. He may not be saving lives but once he gets into a project he sure acts like he is.

Jean is a Managing Director and Head of Diversity, Opportunity & Inclusion for Mizuho Americas, where she is responsible for the firm’s Diversity, Opportunity & Inclusion strategy and initiatives. Previously, Jean practiced banking law for over 20 years and served as COO for the legal divisions. Jean is a volunteer lawyer with KIND (Kids In Need of Defense) and the City Bar Justice Center and has always been a strong ally to various
PRIDE groups and a grateful recipient of PFLAG’s resources when her brother came out as gay and her niece as transgender. She is a graduate of Notre Dame Law School and Cornell University. A lifelong New Yorker, she lives in Long Island with her husband, two college-aged children, and a beloved rescue dog.

Lisa brings a track record of strategic leadership and transformative vision in the education and retail sectors from her tenure as President and COO/CMO at Barnes & Noble Education, the country’s leading strategic partner championing student success in the higher education marketplace. Lisa’s expertise spans diverse areas such as Marketing, Digital Commerce, Operations, Talent Management, Strategic Communication and Business Development. Born and bred in Queens NY, she now resides in New Jersey with her husband Glenn.
McKenna C Poe

McKenna is a multidisciplinary artist highlighting color, creativity, and community in their work. After graduating with a BBA in Strategic Design and Management at Parsons School of Design with both academic & departmental honors, McKenna works full-time as a freelance artist, primarily in photography. Her work conjures a sense of sophisticated play, all while making clients feel like their most confident, authentic selves. McKenna lives in New York with her partner, Dan, and their two cats. McKenna's commitment to PFLAG grows from having them as a resource in her own adolescence, and she is thrilled to be able to give back as a board member.

Judy founded PFLAG NYC’s TransFamilies Project after discovering that her youngest child was transgender. She has been on the PFLAG NYC Board since 2008, has been instrumental in the creation and production of Gender Conference East and Gender Conference NYC since 2014, and most importantly, is a loving and devoted mom and grandmother.

Ralph Bassett

Ralph serves as Regional Managing Director at J.P. Morgan and leads a team of Relationship Managers dedicated to helping clients achieve their financial goals. He joined J.P. Morgan in 2023 with nearly two decades of experience in wealth management, including a tenure at First Republic and 16 years of service at Aberdeen Standard Investments. Ralph holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Villanova. In his free time, he co-leads Employee Advocacy for PRIDE at J.P. Morgan, is a competitive equestrian, and enjoys tennis, pickleball, and CrossFit.
