PFLAG NYC and Cheree Alexander-Velez, the founder of Poetry on Demand Outreach LLC, invite you to Prompt and Play: A Poetry Writing Workshop. This will be a joyful, affirming space for adults and youth 16+ to connect, write freely, and celebrate their voices.

Join us virtually on Thursday, December 4, 2025, from 6:00–7:30 p.m. ET for a playful, no-pressure creative writing experience. The workshop will include an icebreaker to spark connection, a mini-game writing prompt, and a reflection segment where participants will respond to a guiding question. Participants will also have the opportunity to share their work and engage in a collaborative feedback exchange that honors each voice.

Whether you want to share a poem, listen deeply, or simply soak in the energy, this workshop will build community and leave you feeling inspired, empowered, and creatively recharged.

The workshop will take place through Zoom and is free to attend.
