Support Groups

An LGBTQ+ youth holds roses in one hand and a homemade sign that reads, "Let queer kids be!" in the other. They are wearing a light blue PFLAG NYC tshirt while wrapped in a progress Pride flag.

PFLAG NYC offers support groups for parents, families, and friends of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer people. LGBTQ+ people are also welcome to attend to care for and strengthen their family relationships.

All PFLAG NYC meetings take place virtually via Zoom. We aim to make every meeting a safe place to share. You will get support from other attendees, and you'll find your experiences contribute to helping others. Through conversation with peers, we support each other in a continuing process of learning, acceptance, and celebration.

All PFLAG NYC support groups are offered free of charge.

Support coaching is also available for anyone who needs one-on-one support.
