We are a community singularly focused on ensuring the people in the lives of LGBTQ+ youth are providing support and being good allies. Large numbers of LGBTQ+ youth continue to be turned out of their homes because of their sexuality and gender identity, and even more face regular harassment and bullying in school. We are committed to reaching more parents, family members, educators, and friends, so that when a young person comes out they are celebrated instead of rejected.
PFLAG NYC was the first LGBTQ+ ally organization in the United States, spawning an international network of efforts based on our model. We are proud to continue to lead in life-saving work.

Donate Stock to PFLAG NYC
When you give PFLAG NYC appreciated marketable securities that you have owned long term (for more than one year and a day), you receive a tax deduction for the full value of the gift, and neither you nor PFLAG NYC will have to pay the capital gains tax.
To donate stock and other securities held in a brokerage account, please give your broker the following information for transfer to our account. Please contact us if you wish to donate physical securities or stock certificates.
If the security is held in an account at Rockefeller Capital Management, the stock can be transferred directly to PFLAG NYC’s account there (RJL-008980). All other securities can be transferred through the Depository Trust Company (DTC).

Because we do not receive donor information from the DTC transfer, it is imperative that you or your broker notify PFLAG NYC with the name of the donor(s), the security being donated, the number of shares, the designation of the gift, and the broker’s name and phone number.
